To Smeceres Sils to get some snow!

If you have the feeling that winter with its white and brilliant snow has departed too soon and too unexpectedly, and all the planned activities in the snow have unfairly been cancelled, you should visit Vidzeme highland, the hilliest part of Latvia. This is the place where things still happen! On 30 January all the experienced, as well as not so experienced skiing enthusiasts are warmly invited to take part in the biathlon races that will start at 11:00 o'clock in sports and recreation centre Smeceres Sils in Madona district.

Organisers of the Biathlon for All race say that the race track is in good condition, and there is enough and good quality snow. So anyone who is eager to enjoy the special biathlon atmosphere is kindly invited to take part in the race or support their favourite participant.

In addition to free style skiing, there will also be a track for those who prefer skiing in classic style.

Those who have not yet managed to register for the races will have an opportunity to do it on the day of the event.
