The new school year turned out to be even more active for those schools that applied for the Mammadaba Master Class program for schools, organized by JSC "Latvijas valsts meži" (Latvian State Forests). As part of the international environmental education program - Learning About Forests, more than 12 thousand students from 179 schools in Latvia will compete for the Master, Journeyman, and Apprentice titles this year.

Participants will face three challenging tasks – conducting a "forest master class", preparing a "forest masterpiece", and experiencing a "forest master day" in nature. More about the program – Mammadaba Master Class.

The most active masters of Mammadaba Master Classes will win an opportunity to take part in the annual further education 12-hour courses – "Teachers' professional growth in environmental education on sustainable forest management", organized by JSC "Latvijas valsts meži" with LVMI "Silava" and MeKA.

LVM thanks all participants for their interest and all 686 classes, hobby groups, and kindergarten groups which took part in this year's Mammadaba Master Class. The company also wishes  for educational and green activity in the forest during the Mammadaba Master Class program.
