New viewing tower opened in Kurzeme

On 16 August a new viewing tower, about 28 m high, erected by AS Latvijas Valsts Meži at the top of Kamparkalns, Ziemeļkurzeme highest hill was inaugurated.

From its upper deck, the tower offers a spectacular view over one of the most singular sceneries of Latvia: the nature park of Talsi mounds and the sea at 30 km distance.
