How to recognise a biologically valuable forest

LVM nature experts have compiled a new publication – “How to Recognise a Biologically Valuable Forest” It is a supplemented 2012 edition, which also contains improved inquiry forms for LVM staff members and other enthusiasts to use in forests.

“How to Recognise a Biologically Valuable Forest” contains chapters on the vital structural elements of forest stands, factors negatively affecting the quality of forest biotopes, the description of EU-significance forest biotopes, common, rare and protected species in biotopes, including insects and snails.
