Forest caretakers wanted

JSC “Latvia’s State Forests” invites local residents and companies to apply for tending young forest stands and plantations in state forests.

The company offers stable job opportunities in Latvia, guaranteed and speedy payment for quality work performed on schedule.

In order to grow beautiful and healthy future forests, JSC “Latvia’s State Forests” plans to carry out intense forest tending activities during the next few years, buying these services from local businessmen. The procurement amount for 2013-2015 is record high and the company has announced a tender in all eight forest management units.

There will also be informative meetings held to inform prospective service providers about the job opportunities and answer any questions they may have.

JSC “Latvia’s State Forests” Silviculture Director Mārtiņš Gūtmanis: “We need at least 250 pairs of hands to accomplish our goals next year and we are capable of providing these people with employment throughout the entire year.”
