Already for the fifth time, JSC “Latvia's State Forests” (LVM) presents its recognition awards to timber transportation service providers, thereby expressing its appreciation to company’s most reliable cooperation partners during the past year. At the end of this year, service providers were awarded in the four categories.

“Timber Carrier 2021” in the “Stability” category – SIA “Laskana” received the main award for cooperation within the framework of long-term contracts, while promotion awards went to SIA “Marko K” and SIA “Mobaco Green”.

“Timber Carrier 2021” in the “Opportunities” category – the main award was given to SIA “Temporum” for cooperation within a framework agreement, while promotion awards went to SIA “Dundagas meži” and agricultural holding “Vairogi” from Daudzese Municipality.

“Timber Carrier 2021” in the “Cooperation” category – for contribution to the promotion of cooperation and improvement of timber transportation processes, the award was granted to agricultural holding “Vairogi” from Daudzese Municipality.

“We received the award quite unexpectedly, because in recent years due to restrictions face-to-face meetings have rarely taken place, but this time the ordinary meeting turned into a small presentation ceremony. If talking about the cooperation with LVM, we evaluate it positively – we have not experienced any special challenges in the past year. Over the years, the team of agricultural holding “Vairogi” has grown, and we currently employ 50 people. It is the people around who motivate us to be responsible and take care of the stability in the provision of services,” says Andris Kalnozols, representative of agricultural holding “Vairogi”.

In turn, Vilnis Pāvils from SIA “Unicentrs” received the award for his competence and skilled performance in the category “Best Logger 2021”.

“We presented the recognition awards for the past year's performance at the end of 2022. Considering the war and the resulting energy crisis, which the world and Latvia are facing this year, the challenges caused by last year's pandemic are already almost forgotten. However, I would like to thank our cooperation partners for their contribution to the organization of work, personnel management, and planning work done during the pandemic, which, despite the incidence rates, allowed the company to achieve its goals,” Jānis Vipulis, Manager of LVM Transport Planning, shares his impressions.
