LVM Congratulates the Best Timber Transportation Service Providers

Already for the second year, in recognition of knowledgeable, responsible and reliable cooperation partners, JSC “Latvia’s State Forests” (LVM) awarded its recognition awards “Timber Carrier” to timber transportation service providers in three categories: “Stability”, “Opportunities” and “For Cooperation”.

“This award is an additional recognition to our partners for their good performance and motivation to maintain a high standard of service. Moreover, it is an opportunity for the company representatives to meet their cooperation partners, to look back at their achievements and discuss current issues,” tells Jānis Vipulis, LVM Transport Planning

For the second year in a row, SIA “Marko K” was awarded the main prize in the “Stability” category in the “Timber Carrier 2018” award for long-term cooperation with this company. In its turn, promotion or nominee awards in this category were awarded to SIA “Latgales logs” and SIA “Egles dēls”.

“Of course, it is a pleasure to receive such recognition, especially in the “Stability” nomination. Today, stable work is highly valued, so we do our job honestly, with a clear conscience. We are happy that we have maintained the company rating for the second year. “Latvia’s State Forests” is a reliable and good partner with whom we are interested to co-operate also in the future,” says Sandis Kalniņš, Chairman of the Board of SIA “Marko K”.

“Timber Carrier 2018” awards ceremony

SIA “R Grupa” was the main prize winner of “Timber Carrier 2018” in the category “Opportunities” - for cooperation under framework agreements, while SIA “Vella kalpi” and SIA “Kurzemes investīciju fonds” received nominee awards.

In the nomination “For Cooperation”, SIA “Krauzers” was awarded the main prize for its contribution to the promotion of cooperation and improvement of timber transportation processes.
