Open Forest Days are Approaching

As the spring has arrived, JSC "Latvia's State Forests" invites all interested to apply for the Open Forest Days events to explore the wealth of the Latvian forests and to take part in forest clean-up works.

Events of LVM Forest Days are open to anyone, applying to any of the contact persons listed below.

Open Forest Days events are free of charge. Participants should arrange their own transport to the venue, bring along some snacks to maintain energy, as well as clothing suitable for forest expedition and work gloves. Please apply for the events in a timely manner, as the number of places is limited.

Forest Days are a tradition-rich series of events, which is organised to promote public awareness of sustainable forest management. Altogether LVM will organise 309 Forest Days events in spring 2017, including specific forest expeditions for students of general education schools - exploratory nature hikes with forest stops guided by experienced foresters.
