A New Mining Site has been Opened in Ludza Municipality

In October 2018, final works for the opening of the mining site "Rubuļi" was completed - a connection to state motor road V-516 was constructed. The area of the mineral extraction site takes 4.83 ha and the estimated available sand stock in it is 107 thsd m3, while sand-gravel stock accounts for 381 thsd m3.

It is planned to start controlled production of mixtures of mineral substances at the mining site "Rubuļi" in accordance with the following standards:
