The stock company “Latvian State Forests” manages four lakes – Lielauce, Zebrusm Kanieris, and the Tervete reservoir.  The lakes and their shores provide outstanding opportunities for leisure and for fishing.

Recreational facilities are found on the shores of Lake Zebrus and the Tērvete reservoir, and these offer a variety of opportunities for families and organisations.  Fishermen can cook their fish stew right on the spot, and larger sports and leisure events can be organised. 

There are leans-to with picnic tables and sites for campfires.  Swing sets, a volleyball and basketball court, rental of boats and water cycles for fishing and just for floating around on the lake – all of these are available.  Tenting space and cottages are available.

The LVM lakes and their shores will be enjoyed by passionate fishermen, by quiet nature watchers, by lovers of active recreation and by large families alike.

Fishing laws must strictly be observed, along with instructions concerning fishing licenses and all instructions from the local supervisor.  Fishing norms are set out in government regulations.
