On Tuesday, 5 September, at 15:00, a photo exhibition “Tu esi. Tu vari. Rio” (You Are. You Can. Rio) by Juris Bērziņš-Soms devoted to paralympic sports will be opened at the LVM Customer Centre (1 Vaiņodes Street, Riga).

More than 40 large-scale colour photographs show the progress of the Latvian athletes in the summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro. The author of the photographs believes that faith, perseverance and the ability to withstand the life's most difficult moments are among the most important preconditions for success both in sports and in everyday life.

"This is an inspirational exhibition. It gives strength to those who have health problems, as well as reminds those who are healthy that human abilities know no boundaries. The paralympian achievements and results are surprising, even incredible. Their abilities encourage the healthy to take up new challenges. The photographs are full of strong emotions, and they will definitely make the visitors think," says Juris Bērziņš-Soms.
