Welcome to JSC "Latvia's State Forests" Embassy - Information Centre!

Since 16 June, JSC "Latvia's State Forests" (LVM) Embassy in Riga Customer Centre is open to visitors. It is a place where to maintain a dialogue with the forest, to find answers to various questions, and take a small part of the forest home.

Although the plot of seedlings by the Embassy may seem small, it is very beautiful and is regularly supplemented with various seasonal news. In the Embassy, visitors can get advice as to which forest and garden plants would best meet their preferences. It is also possible to order seedlings from any LVM nursery - these seedlings are perfectly suitable for the climatic conditions and soil in Latvia.

If you wish to feel a little bit closer to nature, but the large number of recreation facilities seems confusing, the Embassy offers informative materials and advice on recreational areas and lakes managed by LVM. Would you prefer active recreation with children in LVM Nature Park in Tērvete, a peaceful stroll in the glorious Kalsnava Arboretum, a visit to a forestry museum in the historic Jaunmokas Palace or maybe some fishing activities in one of the lakes? Just choose your route and hit the road!

If you have an interest in bringing a piece of forest to your home not only in the form of seedlings, the Embassy also offers a variety of design and everyday use items. They range from clay dishes and mugs to linen towels. Visitors may purchase educational toys and games, even a real Pigman toy!
