The Remte Tower – "before and after". Restoration works

Covering an area of 26 hectares, Remte Park combines a pleasant walk with the opportunity for new knowledge about the elements of small-size architecture and seedlings of foreign trees and brushes. The park's territory holds the former Remte Manor center, hornet garden, wide fish ponds, and alleys. The oldest and largest tree of Remte Park – the Oak of Love – is a popular place for just-married couples from near and far.

South Kurzeme Forestry offers a chance to stroll through the Dunika Bog, which is surrounded by swamp lakes. Bezdibenis Lake (Abyss) is also worthy of attention – a nature trail has been built in Kalnansi Bog.
